Why this challenge?
Climate adaptation creates new challenges and therefore offers opportunities for business and innovative entrepreneurs. The research programme Knowledge for Climate and EU climate innovative programme Climate-KIC want to boost new climate business by stimulating the process of 'ideation': generating new business ideas and translating knowledge into innovative products and services. Therefore we organised the worlds first business competition on climate adaptation in 2013.
